1. Who we are

This policy explains how Notavice processes personal data for users in the United Kingdom. For privacy requests contact support@notavice.example.

2. Data we collect

• Account details (name, username, email, phone where provided).
• Age-assurance data (for example selfie images processed for age estimation via our configured provider such as AWS Rekognition).
• Provider identity verification data processed by our KYC partner (for example Didit), including status and related identifiers.
• Listing content (photos, videos, bio, services, location).
• Messages, custom requests, reviews, favourites, and phone-reveal consent records.
• Payment metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Technical logs needed to run and secure the service (IP, device, and similar).

3. Why we use it

To provide the platform, verify age and identity where required, process payments when enabled, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve safety and reliability. Legal bases typically include contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligation, depending on the processing.

4. Sharing

We use processors such as hosting providers, Stripe (payments), Didit (provider identity), and AWS (including Rekognition for age checks and storage where configured). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards as needed for security, disputes, legal obligations, and backups. Verification artefacts are retained only as long as required for those purposes.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to complain to the ICO. Account deletion tools may be available in-product; you can also email support@notavice.example.

7. International transfers

Some processors may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards required by UK law.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do.
